The Intimate World of Abraham Lincoln
« Thread Started on Feb 20, 2005, 7:11pm »

"The Intimate World of Abraham Lincoln" by C.A. Tripp questions the sexuality of the Great Emancipator.

I'd like to know other's opinions on this book's facts and it's point in whole. Personally, I don't think it would matter if he was gay since his actions on slavery didn't really involve him sleeping with men. But then again, if he had come out before becoming president it would have had an effect on his number of votes, and if he had come out after becoming president it wouldn't look good to the public that he had a wife and a few kids, but was pursuing the life of a homosexual... meh.
